Nothing can be both constant and changing. When things change, then by definition something or everything becomes different than it was–something added, something given up.
Making a change means certain things are now possible or likely. In that moment, it also means other choices no longer exist, or at least without giving up something else.
Change happens. You can ignore, you can deny it, you can rant, rail, and rave against it. But it happens, always has, always will.

Ask a hundred people what they want; few can tell you in specific terms what they are truly trying to create in life. Ask the same hundred people what they don’t want, almost without fail, lists of disappointments, disenchantment, and dissatisfaction flow without end.
Why? Most people haven’t taken the time to define what they want in matters of life, love, finances, or their career. Life happens, events unfold, and we simply accept them and assess them as something we like, dislike, or perhaps simply accept.

Other people–plain and simple. Mentors and models.
Want to learn how to do something? Find someone who’s done it. Want to find out how to get somewhere? Find someone who is there or has been there and knows the way back.
At two seminars we recently held in Sydney, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia we selected an “Other People’s fill in the blank” volunteer at each venue.
Our “O.P. ________” assistants were enlisted to compile a list for the next three days of all of categories other people’s skills, experiences, assets, opportunities, circumstance, challenges they could leverage. Other people’s time… other people’s talent… other people’s passion… other people’s clients… other people’s problems… other people’s everything and anything useful or needed.
